Living in Makati has a lot of benefits. Exercise has proven favorable for everybody and most people do not have time for it even if they sorely need to stretch a few muscles to stay healthy. So walking on the way to work or the mall is an added bonus when living in Makati. Plus, it can also be your excuse to eat a lot once you get to your destination.

Downside? Well, walking in the rain is troublesome, especially if there are puddles that you have to walk over. Or those drivers who are rude and don’t slow down on a wet street with people walking on the sidewalk.

Being hit with a wet umbrella and having your shoes stepped on by impolite people who are always rushing because they are late is another hassle when walking. Not to mention the irritating feeling of having certain amounts of mud splashing on the back of your pants or legs, creating designs that give enjoyment to your co-workers.

Living a few minutes away from work is an added bonus when living in this area. Aside from the fact that you will not be late, going back home if you forgot something or need a quick change is a breeze.

Craving food in the middle of the night can be annoying especially if your fridge is empty. 24-hour mini-marts are scattered almost everywhere in the vicinity, offering you a variety of food to indulge your cravings.

The malls in Makati city not only present you with the opportunity of non-stop shopping, you can choose from other activities for your enjoyment.
