Byron BalesByron Bales was born in St. Louis, MO, USA in 1942. At age 15, Byron began working as an investigator and did so until he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Byron served during the pre-Vietnam era, and visited Asia. Returning to civilian life in 1963, Byron continued working as an investigator in multiple specialties. He is licensed in New York State, California and registered in Thailand. In 1979 he established an investigation firm which now has a worldwide network of agents. During his career, Byron handled assignments in more than 170 countries and territories. He divides his time between occasional assignments and a very nice beach in Thailand.
